Africa 2.0 forges strategic relationships at COP 22 to contribute to critical environmental agendas
Speaking at the opening session in Marakkesh, Morocco, Salaheddine Mezouar – COP22 Pres ident, congratulated China for adding impetus to south-south cooperation saying that COP22 “is an opportunity to forge south south partnership models on sustainable development and climate resilience.
Rita Chami, our Vice Chairman of the Board of Director s of Africa 2.0 and Chapter Head of Africa 2.0 Morocco, CEO of reputation management company Emeraude Service and corporate events planning company Proverboom (a leader in high profile, international events in Morocco and across Africa) had the opportunity to work closely with Salaheddine Mezouar during the conference on the issues that are most pressing for African countries as a whole.
It is important to ensure thatclimate finance or the $100 billion goal as agreed on in the historic Paris Agreement that was reached at the COP21 meets Africa’s needs and Partner countries need to make sure that they invest in Africa to protect the progress that they have already helped to build.

It is crucial that the relationships formed during COP 22 work towards our goal of ensuring a stable macro economic environment, improving the investment climate, addressing the governance issues in order to secure food for the people and meet Africa’s needs.
